Having been witness to too many ruined lives thanks to poor planning when it comes to the bedroom, I am pretty bummed out that this happened in my home state. Not surprised, mind you, but disappointed.  The legislators aren’t thinking long term, and lack of education about birth control is only going to negatively affect the state and the people they are sworn to represent. This isn’t about the controversial abortion process that doesn’t receive federal funding anyway, this is a bunch of white men telling people they can’t get STD tests, woman can’t get checked for cervical cancer, and that the lower class doesn’t deserve the right to inexpensive birth control. Way to go! Is this is what we now consider progress?

It is so upsetting that people voted these people in, and will stand by their decisions, solely based on their political party.
